Benazir Bhutto ‘killed in blast’

PPP spokesman Farhatullah Babar initially said that Ms Bhutto was safe. But later he told the BBC that Ms Bhutto had died.
Another member of the PPP, Wasif Ali Khan, told the Associated Press news agency from the Rawalpindi General Hospital: “At 6:16 pm (1316 GMT) she expired.”
Ms Bhutto returned from self-imposed exile in October after years out of Pakistan where she had faced corruption charges.
Her return was the result of a power-sharing agreement with President Musharraf in which he granted an amnesty that covered the court cases she was facing.
Since her return relations with Mr Musharraf have broken down.
On the day of her return she led a motor cavalcade through the city of Karachi. It was hit by a double suicide attack that left some 130 dead.
The PPP has the largest support in the country.
Earlier on Thursday at least four people were killed ahead of an election rally that Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was preparing to attend close to Rawalpindi.

I firmly believe that Mrs Benazir Khtto has provoked those peolpe who have killed her today. Since her return she kept on provoking and was twice attacjed. The secon one was fatal and ther she is dead. But in her family tree, she confronted many of those acts lke wh en her brothers were killed or father was executed.
But she was an intelligent human kind who studied in harvard and was a courageius woman. So this is quite a sad end

This is truly a sad day for the people of Pakistan. I hope that Ms. Bhutto’s courage in returning to her homeland will not be forgotten, and that soon all of Pakistan can enjoy peace and democracy in her memory.

In Islam it is forbidden for a women to led a country or people or even a single man. She has been the prime minister of Pakistan more than ones and this completely undermining Pakistan’s reputation as a Islamic state and it is a most powerfull Islamic state in the world. This should be chance to end female ruling of a Islamic state. So it is better to have a Muslim country not ruled by woman than she is dead. Let the world move fully Islamized which has Divine Suprvision and it is the only way for the success of all the mankind as manmaid laws are completely incapable of bringing total peace and justice to the worid.

It is tragic tragic tragic!!! It is the work of the fundamentalists, but what is fundamentalism? We are 99% muslims. So, keep your rigid purdah behing your four walls. Surely, Quaid Jinnah had a different view of secular Pakistan. Otherwise this nation woud not have been created. May Benazir and all her unfortunate family go to Heaven.

Now is the time for the individual people of the whole of the middle east to rise up together with one voice to say no more death not one more person will be expelled by military by suicide by government by dictator by turture by any means it has to stop and until the people come together in the great force they are this plunder of humans lives will continue. Yes it is very easy for me to say that here in a country that is safe and without those harms, but it has to start somewhere and I know in my heart that the people have the biggest strength. My advise is to unite for Humane Life not for religion not for Politics, not for Money or Power not for Prestige but for Human Life of every woman, man, child, old and young, rich or poor, educated or not schooled. That we all have in common our Humanis. The middle east needs HEROS and I belive the people are going to be the HEROS.
