Richard Done out of race for Pakistan coach
By admin | July 14, 2007
LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Dr. Nasim Ashraf has said Richard Done was out of race, among the three candidates, for becoming coach of Pakistan cricket team to succeed Bob Woolmer, who died during the World Cup in the West Indies in March from natural causes after earlier fears he was murdered.
Talking to Geo News on Saturday Dr. Nasim Ashraf said that now one out of Australian fast bowler Geoff Lawson and Dav Whatmore could be appointed as the new coach of Pakistan cricket team.
However, some sources said Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will name former Australian fast bowler Geoff Lawson as their new coach on Monday.
