Karachi: Rangers authorized to arrest, shoot miscreants

KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat-ul- Ebad Khan, has said the Rangers have been fully authorized to enforce law and order in Karachi.
Talking to Geo News Sunday he said the law and order in the city would not be allowed to be marred at any cost.
He said the Rangers have been fully authorized to enforce law and order in the metropolis. This includes making arrests and shooting to prevent the miscreants from acts of violence.
Responding to a question Sindh governor said protection of lives and property of the citizens is the foremost priority of the government. He said the strike call would be handled with administrative and political measures.
